 This action-packed day will be a fantastic mix of fun, learning, and achievement in a safe, supervised environment. Participants will not only enjoy a rewarding shooting experience but also earn a coveted official patch to mark their accomplishment. Cost: $35 per shooter – $10 per Non Shooter

Operation Readiness

October 11-12 | Jennings Creek Elementary-Bowling Green

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a first responder?! Don’t miss this heroic adventure. Operation Readiness is a first responder focused event with demonstrations by Fire department, EMS, Police, and Military. The event also includes BB/Archery range, and hands-on training of Fire Extinguisher safety. You’ll have the choice of working on First Aid or Emergency Preparedness Merit Badges. All Scouts can participate in “Jamboree-on-the-Air” where you’ll be able to use HAM radios to talk to scouts across the country and around the world! * 10/11 (camping only, no program) and 10/12 is the program. Cost: $15 for Scouts, $10 for adults/siblings.

Ahoy, Scouts and Adventurers! Get ready for an action-packed weekend of thrills and challenges at this Epic Scouting Event! This is not just any gathering—this is your chance to embrace your inner Viking, enjoy epic camping experiences, and participate in a myriad of exciting activities. Set up your camp under the stars and immerse yourself in the great outdoors!  Unleash your creativity and engineering skills as you build and race your own Viking rolling ship! Will your ship be the fastest, the most innovative, or the most seaworthy? The “waters” are calling, and the 1st place prize is up for grabs!

Join us for Scouting for Food, a powerful opportunity to make a difference in our community! This annual Council-wide Good Turn invites Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Explorers/Venturers to come together and tackle the critical issue of hunger. Every year, Scouts from across the country unite in this vital effort to collect and distribute food to those in need. In our service area alone, 1 in 7 people struggle with hunger, making our mission more important than ever. By participating, Scouts gain a profound sense of community and citizenship, while actively fighting a challenge that affects so many. Let’s work together to instill a spirit of service and compassion, and show that we are committed to making our world a better place. Get involved, make a difference, and help us spread the spirit of giving!

Buffalo Trails Horine Turkey Bake Fall Camporee

Get ready for an exciting weekend at the Fall Camp-O-Ree! Scouts will pitch their tents and immerse themselves in a series of thrilling field events, including tug-of-war and knot-tying competitions! Get ready for a double dose of adventure at our Navigator Challenge! This year’s event combines the excitement of a Scout-O-orienteering challenge with the thrill of geocaching. In the afternoon, dive into the woods for a dynamic orienteering course or embark on a thrilling geocache search—your choice! Whether you’re navigating through the forest or hunting for hidden geocaches, there’s a track for every Scout.
