Wilderness Remote First Aid & CPR
ECSI – Emergency Care and Safety Institute Wilderness and Remote First Aid Course: Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Scouting America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs. Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification (class available below) from one of the following programs: American Red Cross, Canadian Red Cross, Medic First Aid, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, American Safety and Health Institute or Emergency Care and Safety Institute.

Dates, Time & Location ECSI – WRFA – Saturday March 14th, 2026 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (Plus 8 hours online ahead of time) at the LHC office – Course Cost $130.
American RedCross – Adult CPR/AED – Friday March 13th, 2026 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the LHC office – Course Cost $45
*CPR/AED & WRFA Certifications are valid for 2 years.
