National Youth Leadership Training is the premier youth leadership development course for the Boy Scouts of America. It brings together youth leaders throughout our Council to learn and apply the skills they need to be effective leaders in their Troops, Crews, and Ships. NYLT draws upon the most current leadership models used by corporate America, academic circles, and successful outdoor leadership organizations throughout the country. This exciting, fast-paced training course discusses and demonstrates team development and appropriate leadership strategies to enable units to reach their highest performance level. Experience the ULTIMATE in youth leadership training. ILST or ILSC is required before attending. Scouts BSA members must be 13 and have earned the First Class Rank. Venturers must be 14 or 13 and have completed the eighth grade.
