What’s Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouting is for everyone (K-5th grade!)
In Cub Scouting you’ll have lots of fun, adventure, and activities with your den and pack. But there’s more to it than that. Being a Cub Scout means you are a member of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It’s all about the person you are and the person you will become. Cub Scouts involve a variety of family activities that encourage good behavior, teach lifelong values, strengthens family bonds, and Cub Scouting is always fun!
What’s the Purpose of Cub Scouts?
- Positively influence character development and encourage spiritual growth
- Help the youth develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship
- Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body
- Improve understanding within the family
- Strengthen a youth’s ability to get along with others and respect other people
