Scouts BSA Job Specific Training

Purpose

Each session will bring to life the pages of the Boy Scout Handbook and help you deliver the promise of Scouting to yourself and the youth you serve. It will increase your comfort level and give you confidence as a trained, skilled leader. The program will give you the opportunity to work with other Scout leaders from your area, meet new friends, and reinforce skill techniques.

  • How does Boy Scout advancement work?
  • How do I put on a Court of Honor
  • What is the proper way to wear the uniform?
  • What trainings are available for the boys?
  • What are some high adventure opportunities for the Troop?
  • What do I need to do to prepare for a Troop outing?
  • How do I run a Troop meeting?
  • How do I prepare for an outdoor activity?
  • What other training is there for me?
  • What is summer camp?
  • What is a Patrol Leader’s Council?
  • How do I learn to let the boys run the Troop?
  • and much more!!!!!

Attendees

This training is for all Scouts BSA leaders to be able to complete your classroom trainings all in one setting.
