15 Merit Badges offered for Scouts BSA this summer
Back by popular demand Camp Eagle’s Nest 2.0. Going live on Wednesday, July 22, will be our next virtual camp adventure. We will be offering you the opportunity to take some additional merit badges. We have been working with our camp staff to offer you 15 merit badges over the next two weeks. We will have: Woodcarving, Weather, Music, Indian Lore, Inventing, Public Health, American Heritage, Disabilities Awareness, American Cultures, Soil and Water Conservation, Sustainability, Citizenship in the Nation, Art, Astronomy and Game Design. Cost is $15 per merit badge, program fees apply to Woodcarving ($8) and Indian Lore ($12).
We have 2 sessions of Virtual Summer Camp:
Session 1 – July 27-31
Session 2 – August 3- 7

Here are some things that you can expect at a session of Virtual Summer Camp:

Each Scout is scheduled to receive his/her summer camp program supplies either in the mail or via email prior to the start of his/her session which will include: (amount of materials mailed or emailed will depend on the merit badges that a Scout selects to take)
*In order to ensure we can provide the supplies prior to camp, registration for each session must be done 2 weeks prior to the start of the session.
Each class will be $15. Additional program fees will apply to some merit badges (For example: Indian Lore $12 and Wood Carving $8).
As we continue to fine-tune and enhance our Virtual Summer Camp experience, we will be sharing more information with everyone through email and our Camp and Council Facebook pages.
To make your 2021 reservations, fill out this registration form. Reservations require a $100 deposit. Deposit is deducted from the total camp fees and are not refundable or transferrable to the following year. This fee holds your troop’s youth reservations at Summer Camp but does not 100% guarantee your first choice of camp sites. The Summer Camp Director determines final camp site spots for each troop, based on number of youth/adults registered within Tentaroo, one week prior to camp. Camp sites are based on the troop’s preferences, date reservations received at the office, reservations used the prior year, and miscellaneous camp needs.

The $100.00 site deposit guarantees your reservation at camp. Some weeks of camp fill up early, this deposit guarantees your reservation for the week your Troop has chosen. If you are unsure, please contact the Council office at 502-361-2625. The deposit is not refundable, but will be put towards your total costs at camp.
Early Registration Deadline
The cost for Scouts BSA Summer Camp is $305 for in Council units and $330 for Out of Council units.
Adults: First 2 leaders free, each additional leader $100 (see Leaders Guide for free-adult guidelines) (2020 Leader’s Guide will be released by January)
Please remember to put the following information on all correspondence submitted: Council, District, Unit Type, Unit Number, Week, and Site. (Example: LHC Seneca Troop 13 Week 10 Site 15) This allows us to maintain our records correctly, and track your Unit’s details. Aqua Base Cost:
Aqua Base : $345 in Council or $370 out of Council

The Lincoln Heritage Council operates three Scout reservations that offer Scouts an excellent opportunity for advancement, summer fun, new experiences, and camp activities that will strengthen your patrol and troop organization. Troops also have the opportunity to earn merit badges and obtain skills and knowledge to make their year-round program safer and more fun.
