Sponsored by the Cherokee Distrcit

The Interfaith Hike is a new event this year sponsored by the Cherokee District and the Lincoln Heritage Council. The Hike will be held in downtown Louisville on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 8:00am – Noon.

Scouts and their leaders will hike to several significant houses of worship in the downtown area andhear a brief presentation about each denomination’s beliefs and its significance to the City ofLouisville and American society. The event will celebrate BSA’s Duty to God.

The Hike will begin and end at the Cathedral of the Assumption 433 South Fifth Street, Louisville, KY 40202. Parking is on your own at various lots in the area.

Participants are encouraged to bring trail snacks and a pre-filled water bottle. We hope to have a couple of water stations along the route. Troop/Pack adult leader supervision is required. Parent/Guardian must accompany all Cub Scouts. All Scouts and Leaders are to dress in full Class A Uniform.

The Hike will cost $7.00 per hiker and must be prepaid with your registration; no refunds will be offered. There will be a patch for all participants. This a “rain or shine” event.

Registrations are dueby Friday, October 26, 2018 and can be done online here
