Eagle Scout Scholarships

Being an Eagle can carry some weight on college admission forms and scholarship applications. In addition, some scholarships exist for the sole purpose of helping an Eagle further his education. You can find resources here & see our "So You Want To Be An Eagle" page:

The National Society, Sons of the American Revolution selects Eagle Scouts each year for the Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Scholarship.  The NSSAR headquarters are located here in Louisville, Kentucky and scholarships are awarded on the local, state, and national level.

Open to all Eagle Scouts who are currently registered in an active unit and have not
reached their 19th birthday during the year of application.
Note: The application year is the calendar year, 01 Jan. to 31 Dec.

Open to Eagle Scouts in Shelby County, Kentucky
New applicants must submit application by May 1 of their high school senior year and be enrolled in high school.
