College for a day

Discover Career Paths

This event covers 24 courses taught at the University of Louisville by professors and Scouting volunteers using Boy Scout merit badges.  Youth will register for their top four courses and will be enrolled in one to two courses.  Jere's just a few of the courses being offered:

  • Medicine
  • Law
  • Robotics
  • Dentistry
  • Engineering
  • Astronomy
  • Chemistry
  • Weather

Learn to navigate financial aid

Parents will ahve a chance to attend a financial aid workshop with University of Louisville's financial aid office.

Tour Campus

Parents and youth will have an opportunity to tour the UofL campus.   Walk through the "quad", step inside a dorm room, and sit in a classroom.

Participants must be in middle of high school, under 18 years old, and have parent/guardian permission to participate.   Check in begins at 8 a.m. and courses conclude by 4 p.m.  Participant cost is only $15 and includeds lunch, registration packet, and materials for the day.   Parent/guardian cost is $5 and includes lunch.
