Outdoor adventure is the promise made to young people when they join Scouting. Boys and girls yearn for outdoor programs that stir their imagination and interest.
Summer camp is what many Scouts enjoy most. Camp programs provide numerous opportunities for Scouts to earn merit badges along their advancement trail. Resident camp includes at least five nights and six days of fun outdoor activities. Scout camp is a week long resident camping experience for Scouts from age 11 to 17 years old.
The Lincoln Heritage Council operates three Scout reservations that offer Scouts an excellent opportunity for advancement, summer fun, new experiences, and camp activities that will strengthen your patrol and troop organization. Troops also have the opportunity to earn merit badges and obtain skills and knowledge to make their year-round program safer and more fun.
To make your 2019 reservations, fill out this registration form. Reservations require a $100 deposit. Deposit is deducted from the total camp fees and are not refundable or transferrable to the following year. This fee holds your troop’s youth reservations at Summer Camp but does not 100% guarantee your first choice of camp sites. The Summer Camp Director determines final camp site spots for each troop, based on number of youth/adults registered within Tentaroo, one week prior to camp. Camp sites are based on the troop’s preferences, date reservations received at the office, reservations used the prior year, and miscellaneous camp needs. The early registration deadline is March 4, 2019. Merit Badge Registration will open March 4th.
2019 Summer Camp Dates:
Scout Fee: Fees are $305 for the Early Bird, and $330 after that. This year, the deposit for each youth is $50.00. To keep the early registration price, all payments must be submitted to the office by May 4th. Any fees not paid after May 4th will lose the early registration discount.
Adult Fee: First two (2) leaders are free. Each additional leader is $100. See Leader’s Guide for free-adult guidelines. 2018 Leader’s Guide will be released by December.
