What is Venturing?

Over 120 different activities, ranging from rock climbing to scuba diving, as well as high-tech programs like GPS orienteering, offer young adults in Venturing opportunities for personal growth experiences. Venture crew members share a sense of belonging in a group where they explore their interests and learn more about teamwork, leadership, respect, and responsibilities through bi-monthly meetings and high adventure activities. Crews specialize in a variety of avocation or hobby interests.

Crew membership may be co-ed, boys, or girls. Every crew member is expected to learn, practice, and teach others as they grow in the program.
 

Eligibility - Young men and women who are age 14 and have completed the eight grade through age 20 may join.
